Planning a new kitchen?
Where do you start?
Visit our showroom at 2639A Faithfull Avenue. We can show you the huge range of styles, colours, and materials that you need to consider. We will discuss accessories, trim, and details that may be integrated into your designs. We can also show you some practical layouts and displays that help demonstrate your dream kitchen.
What do we need first?
The starting point is understanding your needs. Bring us some dimensions so that we can do some preliminary estimating and designing. At the end of this page there is a link where you are able to print off a copy of the graph that we use. Perfection is not critical, but if you can do some measuring to give us a visual reference, we can get started. If you prefer, we can come out to your home and measure for you.
How do we get an estimate?
Once you’ve selected a style or styles and it is accompanied by the measurements, our qualified and experienced designers will work to layout the most efficient, economical, and attractive use of your space. We use a computerized drafting program which will generate three-dimensional views, as well as plans and costing. This takes some time--often a few days--but as soon as we’ve completed your estimate, we’ll set up an appointment to present it to you.
How long does it take?
Once the designing, estimating, and final on-site measurements are done, we will order your cabinetry. Most of our door styles take about four weeks to produce (a few will take a bit longer). Each kitchen we design is built especially for you. Nothing is actually stocked. This ensures that the fit you get is the best possible.
Tait KITCHEN CENTRE understands that your kitchen renovation is made up of a lot more than cabinetry and counter tops. Installing your kitchen or bathroom often depends on working with several other trades. We will be happy to help coordinate schedules. We can also offer you assistance on many of the other choices that you may need to make. Appliances, plumbing, electrical service, light, and floor covering are all part of the final room, so feel free to ask us for help.
